Blunt Weapon: Ch. 13 (LokiXReader)

The large, dark worm hole in the sky grew as more flying Chitauri soldiers and Leviathans crossed from the black depth of space into the Earth’s sky. Natasha looked up to spot the sight with widened brown eyes.

“Guys....” Everyone turned and looked in the direction she saw, all in disbelief.

“Call it, Cap,” Stark said.

“Alright, listen up!” Rogers announced. “Until we can close that portal up there, we’re gonna use containment. Barton, I want....” You blocked out the rest of the details.

You couldn’t think straight. Everything around you, everything that was happening. You refused to believe it was all a reality. One minute you were wooed by this handsome man in green and black before you, next thing you know he’s destroying New York with an extraterrestrial army. “(y/n)!” The thought bubble of your mind popped into reality. “Figure out how to stop that device from making the hole any bigger. Try to stop Loki at all cost even if it means hurting your boyfriend’s pretty face.”

“Sure thing!” you answered.

“Thor! Take (y/n) up to the rooftop of Stark Towers. You’ve gotta help her to try and bottleneck that portal. Slow them down. You’ve got the lightning. Light the bastards up.” The god of thunder takes hold of you as he spins Mjolnir around until both you and the god were thrown up into the air towards the tower.

What a trip it was. Everything passing by you in seconds. It was hard to keep your eyes open as the air rushed by you. Your vision became clear again when you landed on the outer rim of Stark Towers though Thor didn't let you go just yet.

"Stay by me," he said.

Just then, several Chitauri warriors landed and surrounded you and Thor. Everyone engaged into a giant battle with you fighting one after another, and Thor doing the same. Though you were unarmed, the enemies quickly learned not to underestimate your hand-to-hand combat...until a Chitarui flipped you over by hitting the back of your legs with its elongated rifle. Your vision quickly turned black for a quick second as your back hit the cold, hard floor, knocking the wind out of you.

"(y/n)!" Thor yelled with his hands full from his batch of enemies.

Just as the same warrior took aim at your head, a large blue energy source hit the Chitarui sending it off the edge into a long fall.

"Didn't I say to NOT harm the Midgardian woman?!" a familiar voice boomed from the direction of the blast.

Everyone in the vicinity looked up to see the god of mischief with all his golden glory jump off from his flying chariot and landed gracefully right in front of you; the surrounding Chitauris backed away. You merely scowled at him.

"I don't need your help," you spat out sharply as you slowly got back onto your feet.

"A clear sign of a strong queen. I like that," he chuckled. The god then signaled one of his soldiers, and it swung its rifle at the back of Thor’s head making him fall onto the ground with a grunt. The god of thunder tries to pick himself back up but was held down by several warriors.

“Thor!” you yelled trying to get to him but was blocked by Loki’s arm right in front of you and held you back.

“Hated brother,” Loki said with a smile. “I do give you thanks for protecting (y/n), but now it seems your services are no longer needed.”

“No! Loki! Don’t!” You tried to squirm out of his grasp, but the Asgardian’s grip around you was just too strong.

“And why not?!” His sudden outburst startled you to the point you went quiet. “Why do you care for his safety?! Do you fancy him now?!”

“No! It’s not like that, Loki!”

“Brother! Please! Listen to reason!” Thor choked out from the harden ground.

“SILENCE! I am now king of this realm! And I command this one dies!” Loki points his scepter at the god of thunder.

Thor tries harder to break free, but more Chitauri warriors pinned him down as one takes aim at his head. He looks up from his messy blonde hair at his smiling adopted brother and your fearful face with eye wide enough for your sclera to encompass your irises.

“NO!”
